CX-7 gets a new base engine: A 161 horsepower version of the 2.5 liter
four-cylinder found in the 2009 Mazda6 and 2010 Mazda3. The 244 horsepower 2.3
liter turbo engine will continue as an option. Other changes include tweaked
styling, a stiffer body structure, and improvements in NVH (Noise, Vibration,
Harshness), with a particular emphasis on reducing wind noise.
